We’ve covered the countries imposing strict bans and outright illegality of vaping & E-Liquids, but there remain a number of countries who are behind when it comes to their legislation so the rules become murky. This may be because vaping isn’t deemed an important topic for members of the government to discuss, or because the law fails to enforce any legislation in place. Practice caution in these countries and if in doubt, don’t vape where you can be seen.

Some south American countries like Argentina & Brazil have bans in place on the sale of any vape products, but the internet paints a different picture: vape products are widely available especially in major cities.

Other countries have bans specifically on vaping e-liquid containing nicotine, such as Japan. Cuba have no ban on vapes and it isn’t illegal to vape there, but customs may decide to seize anything you have at the border.

Certain areas of religious significance and prayer rooms place bans on vaping products, including mosques & even Vatican City. This is really a matter of common decency and less about any religious imposition on vapes. Don’t vape indoors or in churches/mosques even if their not technically enclosed.

As above, some of the restrictions in place just make sense and boil down to respect for others. When you’re abroad and using your vape, make sure to be considerate of others and do not impose your vape clouds on others.
