First, what is vaping and why should i try it?

Vaping is the best way to stop smoking cigarettes.

You can start with a higher strength nicotine and slowly decrease over time, until you no longer need nicotine. Best of all you can do this whilst trying a range of great flavours!

E-liquid is a chemical compound predominantly made out of a ratio of vegetable glycerine (VG) and mono-propylene glycol (PG) but also contains flavourings and sweeteners. The ratio of VG/PG depends on personal preference and what is best for the users vape. usually, you can either buy pre-made e-liquid at different ratios, or buy DIY kits in which you can change the VG/PG ratio yourself.

What is an E-Cig?

An 'E-Cig' or 'Vape' refers to any electronic cigarette, they have many different names and types. They all are, in essence, a battery with an atomiser that creates a vapour when e-liquid is added and heated. Vapes are usually categorised in to two groups. Mouth to lungs (MTL) and Direct to Lung (DL) both of these are a great tool to quit smoking, it is really up to you to choose.

What is an MTL?

Mouth to Lung

MTL Vapes are usually used by new vapours and are more like smoking a cigarette. This is because you draw the vapour into your mouth then inhale to your lungs. These come in the form of Pods (Right), disposable E-cigs and atomisers to attach to a mod (Left). The benefits to MTL's are they are easier to use, cheaper and usually more compact. The disadvantages are that they don't usually hold the flavour as well as DL vapes they have a shorter life-span and reduced vapour.

What is a DL?

Direct to Lung

DL vapes are used more so by advanced vapers and are slightly different to use. You draw directly into your lungs as the atomiser intakes air at through the mod as you inhale. these usually come with a separate 'mod' and atomiser. Mods regulate the power inputted into your atomiser. This allows you to control how much vapour is produced, nicotine output and flavour intensity.

An atomiser houses the e-liquid. They come in two main variants, Tank Atomisers and Rebuildable Dripping Atomisers (RDA). A tank atomiser has a reservoir in which usually holds 2-5ml's of e-liquid and has a replaceable coil in the middle. Unlike a tank atomiser an RDA doesn't has a reservoir, the user drips directly onto the coils and cotton. This usually means you get between 5-10 pulls before having to drip more e-liquid.

Pre-made e-liquid

 What is it?

Pre-made is exactly what it says on the tin, it is ready-to-vape e-liquid. Just put it into your tank or MTL and you are ready to go! Pre-Made e-liquid usually comes in either 10ml's with Nicotine included or in the form of Shortfills. Shortfills do not contain any Nicotine, but usually have 10ml's of space to add a Nic Shott.

What are the benefits?

Shortfill have many benefits, mainly because they are so convenient. Unlike 250ml hackshots, you can keep this to hand. All you need to do add a Nic Shott (if you require one), shake and vape. Don't worry about steeping it as it is already done for you! And Ease of use, If you are new to the vaping world but don't want to have loads of little 10ml bottles, this is the way to go.

What pre-made e-liquid do we sell?

Our pre-made e-liquid comes as Shortfills, these are a 60ml bottle, with 50ml of liquid.

No Nicotine and a VG/PG Ratio of 70/30. There is enough room to add a 10ml TPD Nic Shott.

DIY e-liquids

What is it?

DIY E-liquid is in which you make your own e-liquid from different flavours and additives. This may be from buying and combining single flavour concentrates or getting an already mixed concentrate that you then add VG or PG and nicotine too.

What are the benefits?

There are many different benefits to making your own e-liquid. Value is the most obvious, it is cheaper to buy and mix your own. You can combine different flavours to make something unique or just add an additive like Koolada to give it an extra boost of flavour.

What DIY e-liquid do we sell?

We sell many different DIY e-liquids and additives, these include;

Hackshots - An oversized bottle containing 50ml's of flavour concentrate.

One-Shots - These are full Flavour concentrates.

Additives which include;

Koolada - this is a WS-23 Cooling agent, which gives you a cool hit.

Menthol - For those who want a mint like taste.

Sucralose - for your sweet tooth.

And many more!

What is VG? - (Vegetable Glycerine)

Vegetable Glycerine (VG) is a thick, mildly sweet liquid that produces luscious clouds of vapour. VG also imparts a sweeter taste to your liquid, giving a better overall taste.

What is PG? - (Propylene Glycol)

Propylene Glycol (PG) is a much thinner tasteless liquid it produces more of a “throat hit” than VG does, which simulates the feel of smoking better. It also helps to use PG to thin liquids to use in vapes like MTL's which require a thinner juice.

How do i use it?

To use PG and VG you add it to flavour concentrates at certain percentages, dependent on what you prefer. i.e. 70/30, 80/20. 50/50 etc.

What VG/PG ratio is the best?

This is highly dependent on what you are looking for.

if you are looking for something smooth and a more thick vapour, 80/20 or 70/30 would be perfect.

If something with more of a 'throat hit' and thinner for MTL vapes, 50/50 or 60/40 is best.

The best thing to do is experiment with different ratios over time to find what is right for you.

Starter Kits + MTL Kits

What are Starter Kits and MTL Kits?

What's the difference?

An MTL Kits is a kit specifically for mouth-to-lung vapes. They usually require a thinner juice with a higher Nicotine concentration. They therefore have 20 Nic Shots, which you would add to the Hackshot to get a mix ratio of 50l50 (VG/PG). This would give you a strength of 16mg/ml.

A Starter kit is a kit that includes everything to mix up your first Hackshot. This is perfect for if you want to stock up on your favourite juice and save a few pennies. This Kit includes a Hackshot of your choice, 1 x 250ml Vegetable Glycerine and 4 x 10ml TPD Nic Shotts. Once mixed (please see Mixing procedure or Mixing Guide for more info on mixing) it will give you 3.2mg/ml strength at a ratio of 65VG/35PG.

These are both Kits perfect for those who want everything in a nice, easy and convenient package.
