WHAT ARE HANDMADE COILS?
Our stock of handmade coils by Andrew Wild are intended for high-power Sub-Ohm use only. Best suited for RDAs (Rebuildable Dripping Atomisers), RTAs (Rebuildable Tank Atomisers) and RDTAs (Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomisers), these coils are designed to produce unparalleled vapour and flavour by way of increased surface area from a variety of resistance wire strands incorporated into each. The 4 types of coils differ in terms of the gauge of wire used and the method by which it is wrapped.
HOW DO I USE VAPOUR WILD COILS?
Vapour Wild Coils should be used by those with experience in rebuilding coils. An understanding of Ohms Law is required in order to ensure safety when installing and using them. Each coil has two legs which are to be fixed to the posts in the atomizer, with care taken to avoid any electrical shorting. Once the coils are fixed into position the resistance should be checked either with the device itself (regulated) or with an applicable Ohm Meter. A wicking medium such as Fuzz Cotton is then inserted into each of the coils with enough hanging from either side to easily absorb E liquid.
WHAT E LIQUID CAN I USE WITH VAPOUR WILD COILS?
Vapour Wild Coils are best paired with high-Vg E liquid over 70/30. The greater the Vg/Pg ratio, the greater the vapour production. Because these coils are designed for high power devices, they are suited to low strength E liquid below 6mg/ml. HOW LONG DO THE COILS LAST?
The longevity of each coils depends enormously on the E liquid and the use-pattern. Some E liquids like Gummy Bears contains a large amount of sweeteners as you would expect – sweeteners are the main reason for reduced coil life so choose your flavour according to your needs. If coil life is paramount to you, go for something with low sweetness. If you’re after flavour then feel free to select what suits your taste buds and experience flavour like never before.
