As with most pod kits on the market, the VMate i2 is simple to setup and easy to use. To start, you need to fill the pod with vape juice of your choice, we recommend a 50/50 vape juice such as our Crystalize range, whether in 10ml form or a Longfill. Remove the rubber stopper and insert the nozzle of the bottle, squeezing gently until the pod is full. Leave the pod for a minute to allow the wicking medium to properly saturate – this mitigates any burning and avoids destroying the coil before you’ve had a chance to use it.

Attach the pod to the body of the device and the smart function will automatically detect the resistance of the coil inside the pod, choosing the optimum power setting to ensure the experience is suitable. The airflow control slider can be used to fine-tune the draw which gives you some customisation over how it feels to vape. The indicator light will change colour depending on the remaining level of battery capacity, so you’ll know when it needs charging.

the VMate pods have a coil pre-installed, so once you know the coil needs changing you can  simply dispose of it and replace it with a new one. Included in the kit is a 0.7Ohm pod suitable for an MTL (Mouth to Lung) inhale style, and the device will fire when you draw on it – so there’s no buttons on this device! It’s very similar to a disposable, just much more sustainable and a far cheaper alternative long-term.
