The incredible popularity of Vaporesso‘s Xros family of pod kits sees a new addition: the Xros 4. The platforms impressive inclusion of progressive technology paired with simple aesthetics and sensible manufacturing gave it a place at the top of the pod market. The Xros 4 pod kit builds on a well-established and proven design which provides the user with one of the best vaping experiences in the industry. It’s sleek and compact design lend it good looks as well as practicality – it fits in a pocket snugly and is easy to carry around, especially when you’re on the go. The Xros 4 takes a more simplistic approach vs the Xro Pro and Argus G2 in both appearance and inclusion of a large colour TFT screen. But don’t be fooled, it’s just as capable as either!

Whilst this is a little vague and doesn’t offer the same “flair” as you’d see in the Argus G2 with it’s eye catching animations, it might be for the best. Vaporesso pods are amongst the best if not the best on the market. Whilst they may not look as fancy as Oxva pods, they’re at least as good in terms of flavour and better when it comes to refilling. Removing the black mouthpiece reveals the refilling port which is a testament to Vaporesso’s unparalleled innovation and understanding of good balance. Whilst the Oxva pod looks better, it compromises on leak-proofing and ease of refilling, where the Xros pods don’t.

The refilling port is a small hole (large enough to fit the nozzle of any nic salt or even shortfill) with a pre-cut rubber bung which doesn’t need to be removed. Think of a Lucozade bottle – when you squeeze the bottle, the beverage comes out. The same is true in the case of the Xros pods – liquid cannot come out making it entirely leak proof. It’s a really nice touch that you don’t have to fiddle with a small rubber stopper to refill it. Simply (and easily) remove the large mouthpiece and insert the nozzle of your e-liquid bottle into the filling port.
